The Stanford prison/prison-guard experiment
In 1971,psychologist Philip Zimbardo set out to create an experiment that looked at the impact of becoming a prisoner or prison guard. They wanted to do this psychology reaction of certain rights and responsibilities, and see the outcomes from it. Until this day psychologists know that ordinary or regular people commit evil when, under leadership and groups, they become blind to the result of their actions. This has become an impact on rights and responsibilities because it shows that we should not take advantage of our fellow people and our responsibility to do the right thing in certain situations. The Stanford Prison experiment is one of the most famous studies in the history of psychology.
